この作品は大きく分けて二つの観点から成り立つ。一つ目は生物を構成する最小単位の「セル」。すべての生物の最も小さい単位の状態がこの「セル」であるここから全ての生き物は始まる、いわば原点だ。そしてもう一方は病原体の「セル（細胞）」だ。がん細胞、HIVウィルス、白血病、骨粗鬆症、膵臓がん、胸部がん、肝硬変。これらの病原細胞を顕微鏡で見た時、映し出されるのは実はこのような非常に美しいデザインだった。これらは人間の体を蝕み死に至らせる恐ろしい病原体の形でもある。父を癌で亡くしその死体を目の前にしながら、いつものように寝ているのか、死んでいるのか、ただ静止した生き物なのかを実感できず、ただ戸惑っていた記憶が制作の動機である。癌に蝕まれ亡くなった父は何より美しく神聖な存在であり、またそれを客観的に見つめる自身にも驚いたものだった。

The background displays deadly HIV, cancerous cell, leukemia cell, sickle cell, liver fluke and osteoporosis growing and multiplying in their microscopic world. The vivid color shows strong energy. Such disease cells have the ability to debilitate a human being however we can find beauty even in such a morbid environment. This works are based on my memory of father passed away by lung cancer. When I was standing in front of dead body lied down of him, could not realize it was sleeping or dead, just I was in loss, the dead body was just sacred existence of silent with dignity.
