An entrance to

These works are a series of paintings, featuring a bright white section in the midst of color. The white area represents the opportunity to exit or enter, also a perception of escape beyond the limits of the visible -retina of a painter. There are main two themes of the work; the start of the journey to the new world and the end of the travel. First, “the start of journey” is; what would a human experience as it comes into the world when they are inside of mother's womb ? Therefore, as “the end of travel” is;  how we see the entrance (or exit) to the another world when we might be confined in the darkness / chaos / silence when we have the end of the day of life? The exit from one journey is merely the commencement of the next experience. The exit from the womb is the first of many transitions that we go through in life. On the contrary, is death the end of our journey, or the beginning of a new one?     

この絵画作品のシリーズには、たくさんの色彩の中に中心部分に鮮やかな白い部分を描いている。その白い部分は出口・入口、また画家の網膜を通じてその目に見た限界を超えた後の逃避の出口のメタファーでもある。この作品には新しい世界への「旅の始まり」と「終わり」の 2 つのテーマがある。「旅の始まり」とは、人間が母親の胎内からこの世に生まれた時だが、それは一体どのような経験なのだろうか？そして「旅の終わり」とは、人生の終わりを迎えた時、暗闇、混沌、静寂の中に閉じ込められるのだろうか。私たちは別の世界への入り口（または出口）をどのように体験するのだろうか？旅の出口は次の体験の始まりにすぎない。子宮からの脱出は、私たちが人生で経験する多くの変化のうちの最初のものである。逆に、死は私たちの旅の終わりなのだろうか？それとも新しい旅の始まりだろうか？
